My name is Ilona Belous.
I enjoy exploring the city and nature, spending time in coffee shops, talking about the latest design trends, trying new software, and collecting books. Oh, and I love reality TV and I’m not ashamed of it (anymore). I feel the most alive when I come across opportunities to be creative and purposeful.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, I quickly learned I was more interested in understanding human behaviors and motivations and exploring complex problems across various industries.
Finding UX design was like finding a home for me – finally, I’m able to do the work that fulfills my creative and curious side while solving practical problems and meeting human needs in a relevant way. Now, I’ve put design thinking towards a wide range of products, including social media sites, nonprofit work, and SaaS products.
